Another new addition to MGIMO’s 2018 summer session are on-site electric scooters that are available to our students, free of charge. More and more people are taking to the city streets using gyro-scooters, monowheels and various segway-like transport, as this allows pedestrians a “clean” means by which to see the entirety of Moscow on their own terms and at their leisure. We’ve started to grow a fleet of electric scooters, which are the best in their class, having a range of over 30km and a top speed of 25 km/h. Our interns can grab these portable personal transportation devices and head into central Moscow by train or taxi, and then explore the city to their heart's content. And they’re in good company - Moscow’s parks are open 24/7 and are filled with other active individuals any time of day. The Kremlin, it’s bordering embankments, and the entire central region of Moscow have become quick destinations for our Interns.
