Though we’ve just said goodbye to our wonderful group of students from Module I: Russian Foreign Policy, our summer session is far from over. Today marks the first day of Module II: Russian Energy Policy and International Cooperation. A new team of interns has arrived on campus and has already had their introductory lectures, as well as a tour of MGIMO’s facilities. There’s no better way to get acquainted with Moscow during your first days in the city than by taking our overview tour. We start off by looking over the city from the observation spot on sparrow hills, which provides a panoramic view of the entire city center, including the Moscow river, Kremlin, many of the city's cathedrals and parks, as well as the tallest structures - like the Ostankino radio tower and the Skyscrapers of the “Moscow City” business center cluster. After the observation deck we were off for a leisurely cruise aboard the Radisson Royal Flotilla floating restaurant, passing by and getting our first up close experience with
all of the aforementioned landmarks, as well as with several others, like the Ministry of Defense and various monuments that dot the Moscow River embankment.
