May 15th, representatives the University of Nicosia (Cyprus) came to MGIMO University to discuss cooperation in education and the possibility of creating a dual degree program. The delegation was received by MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Research, Evgeny Kozhokin.
The visiting delegation was headed by the Rector of the University of Nicosia Philippos Pouyioutas, and comprised the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Edna Yamasaki Patrikiou and the Head of the Computer Centre of the University of Nicosia, Dmitry Apraksin.
The sides mulled over the opportunity of implementing dual degree programs in «International Relations and European Studies» and «Law and Politics in the European Union», as well as the creation of a joint MA program. They also explored the possibility for cooperation in research and for academic exchanges between the two universities.
