MGIMO-University in Odintsovo is setting the stage for the commencement of another International Summer School Program, which Module 1 “Russian Foreign Policy: Modern Challenges” is due on June 24 – July 14, 2018. Module 2 “Russian Energy Policy and International Energy Cooperation” will start on July 15 and will last until August 4, 2018.
On June 26, MGIMO Senior Lecturer Andrey O. Bezrukov in his lecture “Russia's Position in World Politics: Foreign Strategy Challenges and Prospects” will speak on the most burning issues of the day and initiate a discussion with the audience. In his presentation Professor Andrey Bezrukov will give an in-depth analysis of current international relations and world economy. A considerable part of Mr. Bezrukov’s presentation will be devoted to analyzing current situation regarding the EU, the USA, China, Russia, India, and a number of the most “sensitive” and explosive regions of the world. Professor A.Bezrukov will dwell on perspectives of political and economic development of world’s major economies. His out-of-the-box approach to the most important strategic issues in the field of global international affairs will certainly provoke a barrage of questions and comments from the students.
A couple of days later, on June 28, Dmitri Trenin, Director of the Carnegie Moscow Center, will chair a round-table conference mostly devoted to Russian-American and Russian-EU relations. Dmitri, as an unbiased political science expert, will provide a comparative and independent analysis of the latest events in international relations.
